Audrey AshendorfAudrey Ashendorf is a psychotherapist in private practice in Manhattan with over 20 years of experience. She has a Masters Degree from Columbia University and is New York State Certified. Post Masters training includes the Transactional Analysis Institute of New York and Connecticut where the focus was on cognitive approaches to behavioral change. She also completed analytic training at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies. She has trained at the Ackerman Institute for Family Therapy and other settings as well.

Specialties include: marriage counseling, individual sessions with divorcing parties, seniors, troubled adolescents and groups.

She has conducted seminars on social and psychological barriers to intimacy, career planning and stress management.

She is on faculty at the Object Relations Institute of NY and offers supervision to those in agency settings and private practice.
